Come support local filmmakers and enjoy over 25 short horror films made right here in Minnesota! The 48 Hour Film Horror Project is a creative contest where teams of filmmakers create a horror film in a single weekend. Team leaders draw a random horror genre from a hat and then make a film based on their selection!

The filmmaking weekend is October 3-5th, and all completed films will be premiered on Tuesday, October 21st during two shows (7 & 9pm) Then on October 30th we'll be hosting our Award Show/Party where we'll be screening some of the best films made this year, announcing all of our awards, and partying afterward in the lobby. There will also be a costume contest for those who want to get their costume out early!

SIMPLE GIFTS
with
Billy McLaughlin

With little or no media attention, SimpleGifts has become arguably the most successful holiday project celebrating modern arrangements of traditional hymns and carols in MN. Fueled by passionate grassroots fans since 2001, the 2014 Holiday Tour includes 20 appearances between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve including a four-night return to the historic Marine-on-St. Croix Town Hall that have been sell-outs for the past 6 years. Most exciting is the opportunity to be the first-ever Christmas concert at the Historic Parkway Theater in Billy's childhood neighborhood of south Minneapolis. Music from all five of the groups critically acclaimed CD releases will be featured including the most recent, Wintergrace,

characterized by local music critic Jim Walsh:
